The patented Hail Protector System is a portable car cover system that protects an entire vehicle from any size hail damage (Utility Patent No.: US 8,985,672). It covers any size vehicle across six sizes priced between $299 and $399. The system includes a daily hail forecast and an early warning alert service. The system provides the same UV and water resistance as a traditional car cover and provides infrared protection with it's reflective silver finish. The system is remote controlled via traditional RF remote or via optional SMS text message. It installs in minutes and repacks in minutes to the size of a medium duffel bag. The system is sold online to the consumer via hailprotector.com and amazon.com. After 4 years of design, development and testing, the system launched to market in August 2013, with customers in 32 states, 6 countries and 4 continents in its first 18 months on the market. Strategic alliance conversations are ongoing with multiple major insurance companies.
