CIM accelerators and supercomputing servers are breakthroughs in high perfomance computing (HPC), with advantages in performance, power consumption, virtualization, size, and weight. CIM lets programmers in analytics, media / content delivery, scientific, and other technical areas use a superset of OpenMP to accelerate open source and proprietary code bases. API based programming interfaces are also supported. Accelerators include direct network access and OpenMP I/O support.
