Modern festivals are a defining aspect of social culture. They are an immersive experience which captures the full attention of an audience for three days. Our digital generation revolves around these sharable experiences. Recognizing the urge to share is key factor to creating a successful event in today’s market. Although, festivals do have an inherent problem. With multiple stages running at all times, no one person can be everywhere at once. To solve this we will empower the attendees by providing a telepresence app which operates on a venue-wide wifi system. This app will allow the user to engage with the event in a brand new way. Through it we will provide a live stream of each stage, peer-to-peer messaging, real time geo-location updates from friends and exclusive offerings from sponsors. By offering attendees such a system, we will change the way people experience festivals.
