Joint Venture with someone that would like to partner with me to obtain my 8a certification to bid on set aside contracts from the fed. My company is 100% Native American owned and I qualify for the program. The ROI will be less than 12 months after we are certified. The first 12 months predicted profits will be around 500-700k. The investment will pay for all the preparation and filings for the 8a as well as the cost to get onto the GSA Schedule etc. As a Native American we can use the Buy Indian Act for any solicitations on Indian reservations that may utilize our services. This act allows my bid to supersede any non-Indian company that is bidding on this contract. Furthermore we will join the protégé program with the department of energy. This allows a major company that does not qualify for an 8a to bid on set asides trough a JV with my company.
